Celebrating the Oregon College of Art and Craft community

Sign Our Letter to the Board

Friends of OCAC is writing to the Oregon College of Art and Craft’s Board of Trustees requesting a town hall meeting with the OCAC community to clarify the current situation and constructively seek solutions together. We invite all members of the OCAC community to sign this letter showing their support. We plan to submit this letter to the Board on Monday, February 18.

Please feel free to share this email with any members of the OCAC community you think would be interested in signing. And if you would like to write your own letter to the Board in support of the school, we encourage you to do so!

Current OCAC Closure Information

The Board of Trustees has voted to close the degree–seeking programs. Students who complete all degree or certificate requirements by the end of Spring 2019 will earn their degree or certificate from OCAC. Students who do not complete requirements by then will be referred to a partner institution for completion.

At present, no final decision has been made about the immediate future of OCAC's Community Programs, including Studio School and summer Art Adventures.
